The family and friends of a Scottish woman murdered at Lapland have been asked to wear purple or animal prints to her funeral.
Rebecca Johnson, 26, of Burntisland, Fife, was working as a Santa Safari tour guide when she was found stabbed to death in the Finnish village of Kuttanen on December 3.
Her boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of her killing following a police manhunt in temperatures of -30C and has since appeared in court.
The couple, who were both keen husky dog racers, are understood to have lived together in the Kirkhill area, outside Inverness, with Ms Johnson moving there at the end of 2013.
The pair are thought to have then moved to Tulloch, Nethy Bridge, in 2014.
Her funeral takes place on January 6 at Dunfermline Crematorium. Mourners have been asked to wear purple – the young woman’s favourite colour – or an animal print in her honour.
