A motorist had to be cut from their car following a two-vehicle crash on the A90. The incident happened between Laurencekirk and Stracathro, near the Brechin turn-off. Fire crews from Laurencekirk and Montrose, consisting of 11 firefighters, were called to the scene. A team of 11 firefighters had to use cutting gear to free one driver from their car, however they are not believed to be seriously injured. The southbound carriageway of the road remains closed near the Edzell junction until vehicle recovery have taken the cars away.
