Commuters are expected to face disruption later today after a lorry crashed into a rail bridge in Argyll and Bute yesterday.
Services between Oban and Glasgow Queen Street had to be delayed, cancelled or terminated at Dalmally after the HGV hit the bridge at Taynuilt station yesterday afternoon.
Scotrail has confirmed the disruption is expected to continue through till tomorrow.
In a statement on their website, Scotrail said: “An HGV has collided with a bridge and caused extensive damage. Repairs will not be completed today and are unlikely to be completed before end of service tomorrow, Friday 20th January.
“Replacement transport will be on site at Dalmally and Oban. Sorry that it will take a little longer by road than by rail. If you have an onward connection to make please let a member of staff know.
