The Englishman has been under pressure following a 1-1 draw against Ross County following a 4-1 defeat at Hearts. Assistant boss David Weir and head of recruitment Frank McParland have also quit. The club is currently third in the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship. It comes just two days before the Ibrox side take on Greenock Morton in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup.
