Police in Forth Valley are appealing for information following a robbery in Denny.
The incident took place at William Hill in Stirling Street just before 9pm on Friday 7.
A man threatened a staff member before stealing a quantity of cash.
He is described as white, aged 20-30 years, around 5ft 9ins tall and of stocky build.
He was wearing a khaki green jacket with orange or red vertical lines under the arms, dark blue jeans, a green scarf covering his face, gloves and had a carrier bag.
He is believed to have been seen in the Herbertshire Street area a short time later.
Detective Inspector Michelle Findlay said: “No one was injured but this was a frightening experience which left a staff member understandably very shaken.
“As part of our ongoing investigation, we’d urge anyone who was in the area around this time and saw the man to get in touch.
“Anyone who recognises his description or has any other information which may be able to help is also asked to contact us.”
Those with information can contact Falkirk CID via 101 or report this anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
