Searches are continuing for an 80-year-old woman who has not been seen since this morning.
June Murray left her house in Strathean Road, Dundee, at 8.10am this morning.
She is 5ft5in with short, grey permed hair.
It is thought she is wearing a pink jumper, blue and purple anorak, black trousers, white socks and black shoes.
Chief inspector Nicky Russell said: “As time goes on, we are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of June and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with us.
“Officers are carrying out searches of the surrounding areas but June may have gone further afield.
“Given it is dark and cold outside now, can I ask that members of the public check outbuildings and sheds to make sure there are no persons within.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting Tayside Division incident 0720 of 29 Nov.
UPDATE: Ms Murray has been found safe and well. The police have thanked the public for their assistance.
