Police have confirmed that a prisoner who failed to return to jail following a period of home leave has been traced. Officers issued an appeal last night after Paul Stewart, 44, was reported missing after he didn’t return to HMP Castle Huntly, near Dundee. Members of the public had been warned not to approach him. A police spokeswoman confirmed this morning that Stewart had been found.
