A tram has derailed after being involved in a collision with a bus near Edinburgh Airport.
Around six people are believed to have sustained minor injuries in the incident which happened at 5.30pm, Edinburgh Trams said.
Emergency services are at the scene.
Tram services in the area were disrupted following the incident which involved a tram and an airport courtesy bus.
A police spokesman said: “Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic collision involving a single decker bus and a tram near Edinburgh airport.
“The tram has derailed as a result of the collision.”
An Edinburgh Trams spokesman said: “Edinburgh Trams regret to advise that services are currently running between York Place and Gyle Centre due to a road traffic collision at Eastfield Avenue near Edinburgh Airport.
“Early indications suggest that minor injuries have been reported from both the road vehicle and the tram involved.
“We are working with the emergency services to investigate the cause of the incident and would like to offer any support to those affected.
“While the incident is ongoing, a ticket acceptance agreement is in place with Lothian Buses to help customers complete their journeys.”
