The accident, which happened at 8am on Wednesday, has caused travel chaos in the city centre. Engineers are assessing the bridge at Perth Railway Station for structural damage. Police were called to the scene. Network Rail said the bridge was inspected by engineers and has been “passed fit for rail traffic”.
