A 31-year-old Aberdeen man is to appear in court over allegations that he was caught speeding 14 times in just over a month.
Thomas Branson allegedly broke the speed limit more than a dozen times between 9 August and 30 September last year.
Branson, of Polmuir Road, faces 14 separate speeding charges relating to incidents on roads around Scotland.
On four occasions he was alleged to have been speeding twice on the same day in his Vauxhall Grandland X SE Turbo.
Branson allegedly drove the new vehicle at 80 miles per hour or more on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road on six occasions.
He is also alleged to have been caught speeding on the A96 Inverurie Road and the A92 Stonehaven Road in Aberdeen on a number of occasions, and on the A90 between Dundee and Perth.
Branson was due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday but was absent. An initiating warrant for his arrest was issued.
