Police said the fire affected Pets at Home, B&M’s and a vacant shop. Around 30 animals have now been evacuated from the pet shop and the majority of the Retail Park has now reopened.
Detective Inspector Jennifer Reid said: “Our inquiries into this incident are at an early stage and we are working closely with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to establish the full circumstances.”
She urged anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting incident 617 of 24 August and thanked the businesses at the retail park for “their support”.
