More than £500,000 has been raised for charity by fans of Scotland’s favourite schoolboy already.
And tonight that total reached over £800,000 as more Oor Wullie statues went under the hammer.
The Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail auctions began in Dundee on Monday where an amazing £239,000 was raised. The following night the total raised hit a whopping £316,700. Proceeds from both nights went to The Archie Foundation.
Tonight, attention switched to Prestonfield House hotel for the third auction in aid of Edinburgh Children’s Hospital. After an evening of fun, it was announced the total was £318,000.
