Veterans and serving military personnel have marched through Stirling to mark Armed Forces Day.
Thousands of people lined the streets of the city’s historic old town to watch the huge procession.
More than 1,000 veterans marched alongside serving members of the Army, RAF and Royal Navy, as well as cadets.
The Princess Royal is among the dignitaries in Stirling, which is hosting the sixth annual Armed Forces Day National Event.
The procession, which also included pipe bands, headed through the Old Town to the Albert Halls, and onward to the events ground at the Royal Parklands, where a range of activities is taking place this afternoon.
These include a flypast of current and vintage aircraft, displays of tanks and other military vehicles and demonstrations by Sea King, Apache and Puma helicopters.
The Red Arrows are due to perform at the end of the event.
The city is also celebrating the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn at a two day event.
A group of 300 people are taking part in a re-enactment of the famous battle as part of Bannockburn Live.
They will perform scenes from the 1314 clash between the armies of Robert the Bruce and Edward II.
