A man has been found dead in a freezer at his home.
The body of Colin Machin was discovered at a property in Alva, Clackmannanshire.
Police are treating his death as unexplained.
In a statement, police said: “Police Scotland is investigating the unexplained death of a 50-year-old man at an address in Alva on the evening of Wednesday 25th June.
“Inquiries are ongoing.”
Mr Machin’s daughter Erin changed her Facebook profile picture to one showing her with her father, The Sun reported.
She also posted lyrics from the song Caledonia, writing: “Let me tell you that I love you. And I think about you all the time.”
Friends paid tribute to him on her Facebook page.
Kevin Hogg wrote: “Such a great guy with a huge heart, such a privilege having being a friend, so sad to have have lost a great friend. Our thoughts are with you all.”
Margaret Paterson wrote: “A wonderful person and loyal friend whom I will miss very much.”
The Sun reported that Mr Machin was an architect who also ran Boll Holiday Cottages with his wife.
