A trunk road in Argyll is closed following a serious road accident.
Police said a man has been taken to hospital in Glasgow with head injuries after a car went off the road between Inveraray and Cairndow on the A83 Tarbet to Campbeltown route.
Emergency services were called at 3.40pm and police, fire and ambulance all attended the scene.
The man was taken to hospital by helimed.
A police spokeswoman said: “It looks like quite a serious road crash. Only one vehicle was involved. A car went down a ditch. A full road block is in place.”
A diversion via the A82 Inverness to Glasgow road is in use.
