A suave and sophisticated canine is looking for a new home fit for a star.
The four-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier has been named Roger by staff at the Dogs Trust West Calder kennels – because his prominent eyebrow reminds them of Bond star Roger Moore.
Centre manager Susan Tonner said: “We take in hundreds of dogs of all shapes and sizes but I haven’t see one quite like Roger – is eyebrow makes him very distinctive.
“Just like his namesake he is a real gentleman who has lovely manners. He can be a little shy when he first meets people but once he knows you he is lots of fun, very loyal and gentle.”
Roger arrived at the home 18 months ago after being picked up as a stray.
Ideally he is seeking a quiet adult home with owners who will take the time to help him settle in and become part of the family.
“A true showman, he would prefer not to share the limelight so would like to be the only pet in the home to lap up all his owner’s attention,” added Ms Tonner.
“We really hope this little super star find the happy home he deserve.”
