A new guide to same-sex marriage and civil partnerships in Scotland has been launched.
A total of 10,000 copies have been published by the charity Equality Network with a foreword by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
The Equality Network anticipates that between 500 and 1,000 same-sex couples will marry or register a civil partnership within the first year of the new law which was introduced this week.
And it predicts 400-500 couples will marry or register a civil partnership every year thereafter.
The first new wedding ceremonies will take place shortly after midnight on Hogmanay.
The latest Scottish Social Attitudes Survey showed 68% of people supported same-sex marriage.
