A bin lorry crashed to the Millenium Hotel just in Queen Street just after 2.30pm. Police have described the incident as “serious” with the road completely closed off. Six people have died, and several more – including the lorry driver – have been taken to hospital. Tonight, emergency services remain at the scene as they try to piece together the moments leading up to the accident. Floral tributes are also now being left by the cordon outside Glasgow Queen Street station.
