Christmas jumpers are all the rage this festive season with the majority of the north-east donning the traditional garment.
A survey by Robert Gordon University (RGU) has suggested two thirds of the area looking out a colourful and a cosy jumper as well as other regional Christmas trends.
The Christmas jumper has been growing in popularity in recent years and 66% of respondents said that they will wear one this festive season, while 34% said they will not.
The eight question poll also revealed 23% of the 431 respondents would tune into the Queen’s Christmas message with 77% saying they won’t.
Only 38% said they would refuse to eat Brussels sprouts.
Professor Ferdinand von Prondzynski, principal of RGU, said: “The RGU Festive Poll has once again captured the imagination and the results have helped provide answers to some important questions like whether or not people will wear a Christmas jumper or watch the Queen’s Christmas Message.”
More answers showed Irn Bru’s animated Snowman advert was the most popular followed by Monty the Penguin by John Lewis and Coca-Cola’s Holidays are Coming.
