The search is on to find the owner of a lottery ticket purchased in Scotland who is yet to claim winning of more than £3million.
The Lotto prize of £3,062,272 belongs to a ticket bought in the Stirling Council area for a draw last month.
The winner matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the quadruple rollover draw on Wednesday December 17.
The winning numbers on that date were 2, 19, 24, 33, 35, 46 and the bonus ball was 12.
National Lottery players are now being urged to check all their tickets for the chance to claim the seven-figure prize.
The ticket-holder has until Monday June 15 to claim the money. If no-one comes forward before the deadline, the prize money and the interest it has generated will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
A National Lottery spokeswoman said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a Lotto ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
Anyone who believes they have a winning ticket for any of the draws within the 180-day deadline is advised to call the National Lottery on 0845 910 0000.
