Carol-Anne Taggart, from Dunfermline, Fife, was reported missing on Monday December 22. Police carried out a detailed search of her home in Hill of St Margaret on Wednesday January 7. They then searched Pettycur Caravan Park in Kinghorn, Fife, where she owned a unit, on Monday January 12. The 54-year-old’s body was found on the site and recovered late that evening. Police said that a 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with the investigation. He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today.
