Snow has swept across Scotland today with areas in the Highlands, Perthshire and Stirlingshire particularly badly affected… in fact, it would appear most of Scotland other than Aberdeen has been hit by the white stuff.
A number of schools and roads have been affected, with 95 schools and nurseries closed in the Highlands and Islands, five in Shetland and eight in Perth and Kinross.
But while the snow has caused problems for schools and commuters, it has also given people the chance to build snowmen, while photographers have has the opportunity to catch some quite stunning images.
We take a look at some of the best pictures from across the country.
