Winter weather, ice and snow once again took over the north of Scotland today with snow showers ongoing across the north of Scotland.
The Met Office’s yellow warning for snow has been upgraded to an amber warning across the country, with more snow expected to hit throughout the afternoon, this evening and again tomorrow.
Forecasters have warned that more than two inches could accumulate at lower levels in places, with more than six inches on high ground.
Strong and gusty winds have lead to drifting and blizzard conditions at times, especially over higher routes.
