Army bomb disposal experts were called to Logierait Pine Lodges near Pitlochry, Perthshire after police discovered a suspicious package at around 5pm. A cordon was put in place around the area and 17 nearby residents were evacuated. The army bomb disposal team arrived at the scene at the complex of holiday lodges at around 9.15pm. They were assessing the package and taking appropriate action, police said.
