A map has emerged showing the flightpath of the doomed Germanwings aircraft 4U9525 that crashed with 148 people on board this morning.
The budget German airline had been travelling from Barcelona in Spain to Dusseldorf in Germany when it disappeared from radar at around 11am this morning.
For the 142 passengers and six crew on board the Airbus A320 travelling to Germany their routine trip was cut tragically short when it came down close to the French town of Barcelonnette, close to the Italian border and north of Monaco and Marseille.
The plane crashed in the French Alps.
French president Francois Hollande said that no survivors are predicted from the crash
