Police are treating the death of of a three-month-old baby girl in Dundee as “unexplained”. Emergency services were called to the city’s Kirkton Crescent early on Saturday morning after receiving reports of the sudden death. The girl, who has not yet been named, could not be saved at the scene. Police Scotland confirmed the investigation is now under way as flowers were laid outside the house. A spokeswoman said: “The death is being treated as unexplained. “Enquiries are at an early stage and as is standard practice a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
