A 21-year-old man was detained by officers last night and police said they are “following a definite line of enquiry” Formal identification of the remains, found on the outskirts of Milngavie, has not yet taken place but relatives have been informed of the discovery. Miss Buckley,24, has not been since Sunday when she failed to return home after a night out with friends, prompting an extensive search. Specialist police divers, a helicopter crew and search dogs have all been involved in the search for her. Police had previously appealed for information about a grey car spotted on the road between 11am and 3pm on Monday.
