Photo by Peter Jolly Spring was put on hold in the north and north-east yesterday as flurries of snow unexpectedly hit the country. After weeks of sunshine and blue skies temperatures plummeted below zero while the Met Office warned the cold climate could be around for a few more days. Although the wintry conditions cased havoc on the roads, our photographers did manage to capture some beautiful snowy shots from the area. A daffodil in the snow.
