SNP claim first victory in Scotland with Kilmarnock win

The first Scottish result has returned and, as expected, it’s an SNP landslide.

The nationalists won with 30,000 seats – their closest rival was the Labour Party, with 16,362.

The full results are as follows:

SNP – 30,000

Labour – 16,362

Conservatives – 6,752

Lib Dem – 789
