Two people were taken to hospital after high winds blew away a bouncy castle at Cupar Gala Day this afternoon.
Children were playing on the inflatable before it was caught by the wind and blown up to 100 metres across the park.
Several people were treated at the scene – with one 10-year-old girl suffering head injuries when she was thrown from the castle as it took off.
A spokeswoman said: “Police in Fife are attending an incident in Cupar after one adult and four children – the youngest being six years old – were injured on an inflatable slide.
“The incident happened at a fete in Duffus Park around 2.15pm this afternoon when the inflatable was blown around 150 yards into the crowd.
“Most of the injuries are minor and are being treated at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service. One child and the adult have been taken to hospital for further tests.”
