Hundreds of thousands of guests have gathered in Edinburgh for the 175th Royal Highland Show.
The annual event held at the Ingliston showground is a celebration of Scottish farming food and drink and rural living.
Last year the show attracted nearly 180,000 visitors and had an estimated economic impact of £47m.
It also serves as a practical purpose for those employed in the agricultural sector, giving farmers a chance to look into the industry’s latest developments.
