A herd of runaway cows who made a daring bid for freedom have become Internet hits.
The charging bulls were caught on camera running through a residential street in Mid Calder, to the amazement of residents and motorists who could do nothing but watch as the animals were closely pursued by a police van and an unlucky farmer.
Adam Kelly, from West Lothian, posted the short video of the mayhem caused as he travelled to work early yesterday morning.
“Couldn’t have asked for a better commute to work this morning,” he said.
It emerged a fence had been vandalised, allowing the cows their chance to escape.
The video has already been viewed more than 250,000 times and shared by thousands more.
