The collision, happened on the westbound carriageway of the road at Longforgan, about five miles west of Dundee. Police were first alerted to the incident at around 9.20pm, and have now closed the road at the Swallow Roundabout. Officers say the road will be closed for several hours while they carry out inquiries at the crash site. Motorists are being advised to follow alternative routes in the meantime. It is not clear at this stage whether there have been any injuries as a result of the incident.
