Dundee street evacuated after car crash causes gas leak

A street in Dundee has been evacuated after a car ploughed into a building and is believed to have caused a gas leak.

Emergency services were called to Dura Street near to Dura’s chip shop.

Eyewitnesses described seeing a car travelling in rush hour traffic and coming off the road.

The area has been cordoned off and residents were told to evacuate.
