VIDEO: Residents watch in amazement as driver tries make way along flooded road… But has to be rescued

As Scotland has been battered by rain, a number of roads have been closed and drivers have been told to avoid other roads.

However, this footage shows not all drivers took notice of the warnings.

The video shows a driver’s decision to try to make it across a Perthshire road badly hit by the floods.

The A923 between Coupar Angus and Blairgowrie was badly flooded after the banks of the River Isla burst, however, this driver still decided to travel on the road…
