Well Edinburgh airport seems to be on fire. Seems to be in the multi storey car park. Everything fine in the terminal. — Jamie Glackin (@JamieGlackin1) January 22, 2016 Three cars went on fire at the airport’s multi-storey car park this afternoon (Friday January 22). A major emergency response has been launched and fire crews are in attendance to tackle the blaze. The airport remains open. The Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed three cars were found on fire. Four crews and with a total of 18 firefighters were sent out. The cause of the fire is unknown. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said no vehicles are being allowed into the terminal or drop off point while fire crews tackle the blaze.
