Flood Warnings issued across north Scotland

The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency has put over 50 Flood Warning’s in place across Scotland today.

River levels are now rising quickly in response to the heavy overnight rain.

Levels will continue to rise throughout the morning.

Peak levels on the River Spey are forecast to occur by late afternoon.

Low lying land, properties and access routes are at risk of flooding from the River Spey around Aviemore, including the Dalfaber area and the fish farm at Inverdruie.
