Around 70 homes in the north-east remain without power as a result of Storm Henry.
Engineers from SSE are present in the region and have already restored power to around 80 properties in the area this morning.
The areas worst affected by this are Turriff, Banchory and Strathdon.
The gales which battered the region yesterday are expected to continue this morning before easing off later on.
A Met Office spokesman said:
“Gales will be severe at first before easing in the morning.
“The run of frequent showers will continue, some heavy, particularly over Moray and northern Aberdeenshire, where longer spells of rain and hill snow may develop.”
There is a ice risk across the area tonight.

“Please be aware of the risk of disruption to transport as well as power supplies, with some structural damage also possible.
