Fire crews are battling a major blaze in a tenement block in Glasgow.
A man has been taken to hospital in an unknown condition as a result of the fire at the block of flats in the Dennistoun area of the city’s east end.
Emergency crews raced to the scene in Aberfoyle Street at around 6.30am.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “At present the fire is still ongoing with the crews working extremely hard to tackle the blaze and continue to protect surrounding properties.
“The cause of the fire is yet unknown and Police Scotland are working to minimise the impact of the fire on the local road network.”
