The SSPCA is looking after this little fox cub…she is too cute

A tiny fox cub is being cared for by an animal charity after becoming separated from its mother.
The youngster, thought to be three or four weeks old, was found on a road in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, earlier this month.
She has been named Utah by staff looking after her at the Scottish SPCA’s rescue centre in Fishcross, Clackmannanshire.
The charity said that over the next few months it will be common to see cubs left alone while their mothers forage for food or move their young between dens, but it remains ready to help any that appear to be injured, ill or orphaned.
Centre manager Colin Seddon said: “Utah is our first fox cub of the season and was probably in the process of being moved by her mother but somehow got dropped along the way.
“She will do much better once she has been introduced to another fox cub of a similar age as this will help her develop the type of behaviour needed to fend for herself in her natural habitat.
“Once Utah is at the right age and stage to be able to survive on her own back in the wild she will be released at a carefully selected site.”
