Shocking footage has emerged of a vehicle transporter dramatically swaying along one of Scotland’s busiest roads.
The video shows the lorry – with cars loaded on the back – travelling along the A90 Dundee to Perth road.
In the clip, which was uploaded to social media, the lorry can be seen heading on the northbound carriageway towards Perth with other drivers reluctant to pass the vehicle.
A road user said: “It was way too dangerous to even think about overtaking… Cars had to brake as they approached him because he was all over the road.”
Police were notified of the vehicle at about 2pm on Monday after concerns from motorists.
A search was launched by officers but the vehicle could not be traced.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland received a report of concern regarding the manner of driving of a vehicle transporter which had last been seen in the area of Broxden, Perthshire at about 2pm yesterday afternoon.
“Officers from Tayside Division attended and searched for a vehicle of that description however the vehicle was not traced in the Tayside area at that time. Details of the incident were circulated outwith Tayside area for continued inquiry.”
