JK Rowling has said she “can’t stop crying” after the death of a Harry Potter theme park worker who was the victim of a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando.
The author paid tribute to 22-year-old Luis Vielma on Twitter, sending out a message of support to her 7.5 million followers.
Rowling tweeted a picture of the Universal employee after he was confirmed dead following the attack.
The shooting is believed to have been perpetrated by an assailant who had pledged himself to the terror group ISIS.
50 people are now confirmed to be killed and more than 50 others injured after a gunman stormed Pulse nightclub in Orlando with an automatic machine gun.
Police said today that they expect the death toll could still rise.
