Police have released CCTV footage of a daring armed raid on a Scottish highstreet bank as they continue to search for the culprits.
The footage shows two male suspects entering a branch of TSB in Dunearn Drive, Kirlcaldy before making off with a sum of money.
Anyone who recognises the men or who remembers seeing them in the vicinity of the bank is asked to come forward immediately.
The first male is described as white, in his late twenties or early thirties with dark stubble on his face.
At the time of this incident, he was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap and dark coloured clothing.
The second man is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, around 30-years-old, of medium build and with stubble.
He wore a dark coloured baseball cap, dark blue/grey hooded top and dark coloured trainers. He also wore dark blue jogging bottoms with a distinctive white coloured motif running partially down one leg.
Subsequent inquiries have established the jogging bottoms are made by Polish manufacturer Mordex – a brand associated with bodybuilding.
It is believed at least one of the men is Eastern European.
Detective Inspector Colin Robson of Fife Division Crime Management who is leading this investigation said: “As a result of our enquiries we are now in a position to release this footage to the public and it’s my hope that this will help identify the suspects or even jog memories for people who were in the area.
“I can reassure the local community that we’re working tirelessly to track down these men and will exhaust all avenues of inquiry.
“While the answer to their identity remains unknown, it may lie in the local community and I would urge anyone who views this footage, which is being shared nationally, and who recognises them or their description to contact police immediately.”
