Is Nessie dead? Mystery remains found on shore of Loch Ness

Nessie fans have been left speculating after what looks like the remains of the mythical monster were discovered on the shore of Loch Ness.

The find was made by a dog walker yesterday morning but social media users have been sceptical about the origins of the ‘body’.

Help2Rehome Scotland posted the images on Facebook today and asked: “Has Nessy been found? Or someone playing a fascinating prank?”

One social media user commented: “It looks like a bunch of ribs and white puddings!”

It is understood the remains were placed on the shore as a stunt for an up-coming TV show set in the Highlands.
