Police are investigating reports that a teenage girl was raped at Scottish music festival T in the Park.
The 18-year-old woman was attacked on Thursday night and police have carried out forensic checks at the scene of the crime.
The woman is believed to have spent the evening at the Slam Tent prior to the attack.
The news comes following the deaths of two teenagers and several reports of fighting and thefts at the popular event.
Officers probing the deaths of Peter MacCallum, from Lochgilphead, and Megan Bell, from the North of England, said they were following a “line of inquiry” but refused to rule out that the deaths could be drug-related.
A Police Scotland spokesman said of the reported rape: “Police are making enquiries into a report of a rape of an 18-year-old female on Thursday evening.
“Our enquiries are ongoing.”
One fan said she saw police investigating at a tent on the campsite on Friday morning.
She told the Daily Record: “The police were focusing their attention on a specific area and this was on Friday morning.
“I was told there had been a report of a rape, but that was all.
“No one officially said anything, and it make my skin crawl to think that someone could have carried out this attack and then just carried on partying at the festival.”
