Ambulance, police and fire and rescue services were all called to the scene on the A835 Ullapool to Dingwall road, near Maryburgh, just after 10.30pm. Two fire teams from Dingwall are attending the incident. The road has been closed around the collision. A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We have two appliances there from Dingwall. We got the call at 10.36pm. “We used cutting gear to remove two doors from one of the cars to allow access for paramedics.” One lane has now been opened on the A835 between Contin and Maryburgh and police are directing traffic. “Local diversions are in place from the A834 at Contin to Dingwall and from Dingwall A862 to Maryburgh.”
