A stretch of the north-east’s busiest road will be closed overnight next week for resurfacing works.
A section of the southbound carriageway of the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road, at Portlethen, will be repaired as part of a £125,000 project.
Bear Scotland will carry out the work from 7.30pm to 6.30am for four days, starting on Tuesday.
A convoy system will be in place during the works to ensure the safety of the workforce and motorists on the road.
Andy Thomson, north-east representative of Bear Scotland, said: “These works will repair a number of cracks, potholes and other issues which will improve the general condition and safety of the road for motorists.
“The resurfacing improvements has been scheduled to take place overnight to limit the impact to motorists, however we encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance and allow some extra time to reach their destination.”
