The man is understood to be the driver of a vehicle, a white Volkswagen Polo, involved in the collision. He is expected to appear in court at a later date. The incident happened on Union Street beside the Summer Street junction at about 11:40am on Monday. Two people were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and a third person was treated at the scene. None of the injuries were serious. Speaking at the time, a First Bus spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with all of those affected by this morning’s incident. “A car was in collision with one of our vehicles at the junction of Union Street and Summer Street. “As the bus driver took evasive action, his bus then collided with street furniture and scaffolding at the side of the road. “First Aberdeen is assisting police with their investigation into the incident.”
