VIDEO: Motorist swerves around level crossing barriers as they are lowering

Rail bosses have released shocking footage showing a motorist swerving around level crossing barriers as they were lowered down.

The dangerous driver can be seen speeding across train tracks as the safety barriers came down at Langley Green level crossing in Oldbury, West Midlands.

The silver Citroen car narrowly misses the two barriers as it weaves across the railway line.

British Transport Police said they are still hunting the driver following the near-miss on February 3.
