“I get the train down to Glasgow to see my pals. It’s much better than driving – it could always be a bit better but I think it’s a good service.”

“I sometimes get the train down to Glasgow and it has been alright. I usually get the bus but I think I might start getting the train.”
Kerry Bain, 32, full-time mum, Nairn
“I’ve got the train between Perth and Inverness a couple of times now and I’ve always enjoyed it. I’m a big fan of the rail.”
Dan Murray, 28, construction worker, San Jose
“I’m not that regular a traveller but it could always be better. The trains are quite often overcrowded so they could do with more carriages and more seats.”
